Warner Bros. Animation’s feature The Day The Earth Blew Up, directed by Peter Browngardt and scored by Joshua Moshier, was celebrated with “enthusiastic laughter” (The Hollywood Reporter) and rave reviews at its world premiere at The Annecy International Animation Festival.
Josh previously collaborated with Browngart and WB on 50 new Looney Toons shorts for MAX for which he received two consecutive nominations for Outstanding Music Direction and Composition for an Animated Program at the first and second annual Children’s and Family Emmys. His score features many classic LT elements but with a special concentration on character and story that long-form permits.
“Great animation, solid character work, a hilarious and engaging story – this is the stuff that is going to return audiences to a legacy brand” – The Wrap
“The Day The Earth Blew Up is funnier than any film the studio has put out since The Lego Movie 2” –Variety
