The original soundtrack for My Night (Ma Nuit), featuring music by Nicolas Errera, is out now on all streaming platforms!
Marion is 18 years old. She is filled with grief since the loss of her sister, and has reached an age where she feels a vital need for freedom. On the anniversary of her sister’s loss, she embarks on a journey through the streets of Paris. What follows is an evening of encounters with some familiar faces in a city that youth no longer relate with, until Marion meets the impulsive and free-spirited Alex. A reunion of two solitudes, their path will evolve into a rhythm of wandering in the city, like a journey into the night.
Nicolas’ score is incredibly diverse for a single film, tracking her moves that evening with music that ranges from thematic and orchestral to ambient and dance-oriented electronica.
The film has also been officially selected to screen at Orizzonti Extra – La Biennale Di Venezia (Italy), Toronto International Film Festival – Industry Selects (Canada), International Film Fest Gent (Belgium), Festival international du film de la Roche-sur-Yon (France).
