Lucifer, scored by Ben Decter was #1 on Netflix last week just days after releasing its sixth and final season.
Entertainment Weekly praised the much beloved series from start to finish, stating that “In the beginning, there was a Fox procedural featuring the devil solving crimes in L.A. And behold, it was very good. Six seasons and a new streaming service later, Lucifer comes to an end with a final ten episodes, and it remains a divine gift of a show.”
Lucifer’s sixth season also received a coveted 100% critic rating on Rotten Tomatoes, where it was lauded as “a well-plotted coda that gives its devilishly delightful cast plenty to do, Lucifer’s final season is a fitting farewell to the prince of darkness and his many friends.”
Ben, who shares scoring duties on the series with Jeff Russo, creates an entertaining mix of synth and percussive effects mixed with orchestral flourishes that amplify the unsettling knowledge that you might just be rooting for the Devil.
