Brady Cohan is a composer, guitarist, and recording artist based in Los Angeles, CA.
Brady is currently scoring CBS’ #1 drama series Fire Country and its’ spinoff Sheriff
Country with decorated composer Fil Eisler. Brady contributed to season four of Netflix’s hit series Outer Banks and is set to take on a larger scoring role for season five with Eisler.
This spring, Brady is set to score The Black List feature film script, The Broodmare, for
Director Anna Zlokovic (V/H/S Halloween, Appendage).
Brady’s music can be heard in past projects such as, Good Boys (Universal Pictures),
Tales of the Walking Dead (AMC Networks), Good Girls (NBC), The Bold
Type (Freeform), Crashing (HBO), Love (Netflix), Sun Records (CMT), Shadow Force
(Lionsgate), The Machinery (Viably.se), Goliath (Showtime), and Chee and T (winner of
the Grand Jury Prize for comedy at the LA Film Festival).
Beginning in 2020, Brady signed to tastemaker UK experimental label, Phantom Limb,
releasing a series of three EPs titled Studies Vol. 1, Vol. 2, and Vol. 3, respectively. The
music has been described as “…sublime work that feels like an etheric extension of the
Brainfeeder sound” (BOOMKAT). The recordings feature collaborations with key players in
the LA underground music scene such as Sam Gendel (featured on Vol. 2) and Sam Wilkes (featured on Vol. 1). In 2025, Cohan followed up the Phantom Limb releases with his debut full-length album, WASH, a collection of music inspired by a film-script that never came to be. “The tracks drift in and out like scenes half-remembered, where instruments murmur rather than sing, and nothing ever quite resolves” (Vito Camarretta for Chain D.L.K.) The release features classical artists Noah Hoffeld on cello, Bryan Senti on violin, and Nadia Sirota on viola.
Cohan’s work as a guitarist is equally diverse, having toured the world with such luminaries as Stanley Clarke, Natalie Cole, Stewart Copeland, and Queen Latifah, as well as being a session player in some of the biggest house bands on television including American Idol and Dancing With The Stars. A product of USC’s Thornton School of Music, Brady received his degree in Guitar Performance.
