Brian Reitzell is the composer of Bandersnatch, the groundbreaking Black Mirrorepisode directed by David Slade in which the viewing audience controls the story line. The feature-length special is set in 1984, when a young programmer begins to question reality as he works to adapt a fantasy novel into a video game. Netflix’s online platform provides viewers with the ability to explore various scenarios, much like in a video game. Reitzell wrote over 250 individual cues for the episode, along with variations and special stems, in order to get everything to work seamlessly. The Manchester Guardian raved “The Future of TV is Here” and audiences are having a great time with it. It’s a lot of fun. Check it out.
