Fast Charlie, directed by Philip Noyce and scored by Fil Eisler, is now playing in select theaters and streaming on Apple TV + !
The film, adapted from the 2003 Victor Gischler novel “Gun Monkeys,” stars Pierce Brosnan, James Caan and Morena Baccarin and follows a hitman who sets out to avenge his aging mob boss friend after he is assassinated by a rival mob. Critics are loving the film as a gem of the genre, and it’s 91% Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes! Fil’s score is a genre-perfect blend of bluesy guitar, dobro and New Orleans-inspired road house fun.
Fil has previously scored Noyce’s last feature, The Desperate Hour, and also composed the music for the Noyce-produced TV shows Revenge and What/If. The soundtrack album is available from Lakeshore Records on all streamers.
