David Majzlin – Epic Yellowstone

Epic Yellowstone, scored by David Majzlin, premiered last Sunday on the Smithsonian Channel. The four part series hosted by Bill Pullman provides a rare look at the striking wildlife and extreme weather conditions that Yellowstone National Park has to offer. Filmed over the course of three years using ultramodern 8k cameras, FLIRthermal imagery, drone time lapse, cineflex aerials and miniature nest cameras, viewers have the opportunity to intimately see the park and it’s wild inhabitants in their most unbridled form. David’s score, which features both orchestral and modern electronic elements, captures both the spirit of adventure as well as the dramatic contrasts of this magnificent and sometimes brutal landscape.

The premier episode “Fire and Ice” is currently running on the Smithsonian Channel. Stay tuned for the next installments on March 17th, March 24th, and March 31st at 9 p.m. ET/PT.Click here to listen to “Eclipse in F Minor”.
